Lord, we pray for the souls of our heroes, called to duty and lost forever while serving our country, the USA; they died in honor so that others can be free. Free enough to accept Jesus should they chose to do so. Amen.

Nathan is an American Hero who was called to Heaven after serving on earth to protect our
God-given freedom in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afganistan on April 27th, 2010. 'Greater love hath no man than this: that he lay down his life for his friends,' Amen.

Almighty Eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness, be kind to the soul of Nathan, who I’ll refer to here as Your servant. Cleanse Your servant’s soul whom You have called from this world of all Your servant’s faults, take Your servant into the Realm of Light and Peace and into the Community of Your Saints, and give Your servant Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom. God, You Creator and Savior of all the faithful, forgive all the sins of Your servant’s soul. Let Nathan receive forgiveness through our pious prayer, for which Your servant has always been yearning. For this we pray through Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.
